Ok, So I Realized I am a Little Sad...
... when I read it in black and white, but I still think someone will come forward and keep on making Polaroid film. After all, PolaPremium is. But, I did have to pause for a minute when my Dad, who was visiting from the states, handed me my order from Calumet and it included this announcement... I AM going to miss the lovely little blue and orange boxes...

Waaaah!
I haven't had the good fortune to come across any cheap 669 yet. May have to order some from polapremium next time I accumulate enough funds...
Hi Teresa :) I am not sure you are going to find any of it cheap, but Calumet still has it for a reasonable price... PolaPremium ships from Europe, so if you are in the US or Canada, Calumet will have much cheaper shipping...
oh no, this is so sad... i wonder if the impossible project dudes that have bought the polaroid factory and are relaunching the 600 film in 2010 wil ake others such as the 669.. fingeers crossed! xx
Oh, so it's happening. Unbelievable. One of the downfalls of technology.
It is supposed to be happening, as far as Polaroid making these films, but I have held out hope from the beginning that someone will continue to make these films. And as Soph mentioned, 600 is set to be made, so I am pretty sure a film like 669, which can be used for both transfers and emulsion lifts, will somehow be made...
